Looking into a new website

I'll start by saying I'm not really sure where to post this so I'll stick it here and feel free to move it if needed. Ok now down to business. I've been fighting back and forth with myself on getting a new website design But I cant decide which would be better. I'm thinking I want to stick with SMUGMUG for my proofing and printing mostly because I don't want the hassle of having to deal with it myself. I just don't know If I want to go with something like livebooks (i know there are quite a few like this out there)for my homepage and portfolio and then use smug for my proofing or if I should hire someone to customize my smug site all the way. I just wanted to see if I could get some opinions and see what others are doing when smug mug just isn't cutting it. Any advice or experiences would be helpful.

Hey there, please have a look at my site in my sig.
My husband made it for me, it is using smugmug to manage all the photos and the galleries and we have a backend for editing blogs, comments, news and whatever else I need.
I am sure he could work something out for you including your hosting and emails if you are interested.

KEEP SMUGMUG as proofing, create a second site like my www.mdpstore.com or www.purchasemypics.com or http://purchasemyphotos.com/ (google 404 right now due to my settings) and make that a secondary site.
