Ordinary, or Unique?

Hi,
I got 2 photos that I like so far for this present theme:
One is for ordinary - actually my current entry - "Umbrella corner"
The second one would be for unique - and I'd call it "We're all different but some are more..."
Please tell me what you think, because I'm not sure which one to choose.
Thank you,

Really like the processing on both, but the first one grabs me - the colors, angles. I agree that the area in the upper right is a distraction - a little crop off the top would really focus on the umbrellas & add a lot to the comp.
A photograph is an artistic expression of life, captured one moment at a time . . .

I like the first one for this challenge, too. But I'm also intrigued by the second one. Can't help wonder what it might look like as a straight b&w conversion. Both are worthy of .
BTW, would you mind sharing your process/tools for the processing?

Yes, sure I can tell what I used in the coming days - I'm traveling in Germany (my husband has his business here)
and unfortunately right now I'm sick.

really cool processing on both of them. I'm with Bill on this one, please share with us how you did it when you get a chance.
