Shooting with arthritic knees

I'm about to purchase a camera - Canon 60D with the swivel LCD (that I have on a powershot and absolutely love) or the better make of Canon 7D which doesn't have this feature.
Lyme disease has left me with chronic joint pain to varying degrees. Anybody else out there notice differences with a swivel LCD and how it helps with bending?

On the contrary - I find myself bending more with the 60D as I can put the camera in to angles that I normally could not. I would suggest as being your first DSLR (I read the wedding post) to get the 60D over the 7D - it is quite a nice camera and will leave you plenty of room to grow in to and operate a little more like the P&S you are used to. The 7D would give you a bit more learning curve and with the little time you have before the wedding I am afraid it is not enough time to get comfortable with it.

    Sorry for the side track.
