Well, last week the entire eastern half of the United States got slammed with a huge snowstorm. Although the storm burried the northeast under up to two feet of snow, here in Baltimore, we received a paltry one foot.
But a foot of snow is enough to panic us here in Snow Winp Central, er, Baltimore, so I took the day off work to dig my car out, and took a walk around my neighborhood in the morning to get a few pics of the digout. The photos don't do it justice. It was a beautiful walk.
And about 1/4 mile from my apartment, I came across this rather large tree which had been bend completely over the roadway by the weight of the heavy, wet snow. Many trees and branches had been snapped by the weight, but this fellow apparently decided that he wasn't going to give up the ghost.
