If you're still logged in to Dgrin your cookies didn't clear.

True. I certainly thought I had cleared them. Clicked all the right things, or so I thought.

So it's not a cookie issue, apparently.

I closed out of everything and rebooted. That fixed it.

I would love to know what's causing it.

    Okay, now it's back.

    words only.

There's one thing different about my computer that I'm starting to suspect.

I got talked into purchasing Window's System Mechanic a couple of weeks ago (I have been out of town since then, just returned Thursday night).

A cursory Google search tells me there may be problems with this program with Windows 7.

Also, I saw that this program did run a scan between the time I rebooted and my Smug site was back up, and when it crashed again. Definitely suspect.

System Mechanic is now uninstalled and I'm working on getting my refund.

Note to self: end any conversation w/Dell tech support PRIOR to the sales pitch.

(nothing like working on a customer's vulnerability to increase sales - ugh)

This nonsense also is the reason other oft-visited web sites were behaving strangely in the past 24 hours, I believe.

Okay, so far so good, everything is working fine now, including the other web sites that were quirking out on me (drop down menus not working, losing my cursor mid-screen).

    And they are refunding me.

    Lesson learned.

    One more question.

I still could swear that PD doc icons were blue with a big PS. Now mine are all white. I am pretty sure this is a new situation and is connected to the above lunacy.

I go into my library and you know how you can peek into the folders? I can see the blue PSD icons, but when I go in, they are all white.

Should I be concerned about this?

I'm having issues also. The main page had the slideshow vanish after I'd uploaded a few new photos to the gallery used for that slideshow, so I deleted smugmug cookies, reloaded, and the landing page is now ok. But the galleries themselves are not showing any pictures! They are empty, except for text. I tried to take a screenshot, but can't link it because the gallery I uploaded to is showing up as empty. Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Site: godburnphotos.smgumug.com

Link to empty gallery that should have about 700 images in it:

Just went to the above wedding gallery to see if anything changed, and when trying a different viewing style, such as thumbnails or journal, the pictures show up! I'm starting to think this is Smugmug, and not my computer. There is bad weather in the Northeast today (Saturday), and this is a recent wedding gallery that might get some hits. Should I force a viewing style that is working?

Anybody know anything about my PSD icons? Why they're now white? Or, maybe they've always been white and I'm just losing my mind.
