Hi,

I wanted to pp some shots taken with this lens and saw that there
is no profile for it (vignetting/distortion/ca correction) in Lightroom 3.0.

So if anyone of you guys happens to have one and could send it to me
it would be much appreciated!

Did you know that on Adobe Labs, there is a lens profile downloader where you can search for user produced profiles and download them?

A simple google search for lightroom lens profiles, gets you this http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lensprofile_creator/

Thanks Andy. I must've missed the link to their Profile downloader
on that page. If they don't have a profile for me I will create my own.

Even if you don’t have a profile for the lens, you can still conduct a manual lens correction (and save that as a preset if appropriate).

I am creating my own custom profile now, I wanna see if it is any better
than manual correction. The purple fringeing that can occur wide open
is hard to counter in LR ... maybe because it tends to bleed into the dark
areas at highlight edges so much?!
