River Kali, is the most famous perennial river flowing through the Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka, India. It is close to Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary which spans an area of approximately 400 sq km of bamboo and moist deciduous trees. One of the most picturesque locations in the south western parts of India.

Hi, Beautiful lighting in the first one - especially in the mist rising off the river.

    Cheers, Richard.

The lighting in 1 and 3 are both very nice. I like the sunstar in #3, as well as the reflection on the water. The trees frame the sunset nicely. Looks like a beautiful place.

It is indeed a very serene place. In fact I thought, I could not capture the sunrise properly. I thought that I burnt the third picture. Thanks for liking it.

very nice, agee #1 &3 for light!

Thanks Phil for the comments. They encouarage me. I got up rather late for the shots and was therefore anxious not to miss the sunrise, as I was to leave in the afternoon that day.

Thanks Richard for liking the pictures. The mist was really very good. I was able to capture it luckily, though I made some errors with WB in the anxiety not to miss the golden light
