Okay, jumping in with both feet. I think these are so ordinary they can be boring, but I loved the texture.
This is way my first time at anything like this but I we only learn by doing right? Thanks ahead of time for any feedback.

The tough part about this challenge is to make something ordinary, unique at the same...extraordinary. That's where the creative juices start trickling! The depth of field on #1 is cool, the composition and all is very interesting. The way the lighting fades to dark on the right makes it more dramatic. The last 2 are nice but they lack 'oomph'. Unlike the 1st one (top), they don't nail down the attention of the viewer, gotta' find a way to tether my eyes down. These are just my $0.02 :)

Thank you for your 2 cents! I totally agree and find it funny I almost left the rug out of the running being so 'plain'.

The second might work with a yellow rubber ducky.

The third has really nice texture and lines. The darker parts on the right need more detail, I think. And maybe a bit more contrast.

Thank you, and agree completely. Alas, no rubber ducky and low on time. I tried redoing the loofa but didn't fix it to my expectations. Not sure if I should expect a great close up w/o a macro lens and a program to do stacking. I just reposted the edited one with two other pics to put in the mix.

I actually like #2 with the soap although a rubber duckie would be good. I like #1 too.
