Wow, I wish I'd known of this forum a long time ago. I've already learned so much from you guys in just days. I should sit back and learn more before jumping in I suppose but that's not me, lol. I tried to get more contrast and detail in the loofa sponge but without a program that can do stacking I think I'm stuck with this DOF. I added color in hopes of more contrast because when I did the contrast in my Picasa it looked all blurry. So which image do you guys prefer for this challenge? I'm leaning toward the tree trunk or barn but love the imput.

Personally, I like the barn - but I'm a sucker for abandoned buildings

15524779-Ti.gif - the barn is sweet. It has a lot of character. And honestly, I'm guessing that you processed it with a sepia treatment, but it's very hard to tell - kinda looks just like a dreary (uncolorful) winter shot of a cool old barn.

Thank you. Yes I did change it with Sepia, though that is all the treatment this great 'ol barn needed.

Thank you everybody! Even when I put the barn pics on facebook, they got the most comments of all my pics besides the water drops. Barns have such character. I had to work late so didn't have time to turn it in :-( so I'll get in on the next challenge. How frequently do they come around?
