Hi you'll,

While passing ben's favorite tree in the wetlands I noticed we had a new kid in town. Initially I thought he might be a golden eagle but on closer exam I would say he's a juvenile bald eagle. He was backlit but I managed to get a few passable shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Most excellent if you grill 'em with a little garlic powder. They kind of taste like chicken, Andy. :D

Purdy Burdy. Wow... when do I get some of these puppies in my backyard trees? Huh..huh.. Harry?

    Nice shots. thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif

    all hail THE TREE

I mean if our man Harry didn't have THE TREE he'd have to get out of his car and carry that heavy 500mm all around looking for these beautiful shots.

And we would not want that now would we :D. I mean he might havt to quit shooting these beautiful images, and then he might end up having to shoot little OOF birds or worse beer belly fisherman (remember them :D)

So I say to you, ALL HAIL THE TREE

    Hey Jeff,

Thanks Jeff, glad you liked the shots. Not to worry about THE TREE no WCW (West Coast Wimp yelrotflmao.gif ) could survive in our wetlands long enough to do any damage. A few minutes with the bugs, snakes, and gators will send him scurrying back to the left coast and his pineapple pizzas. biggrinbounce2.gif

Thats a little bit better. I would have you know that I left the car and set up the tripod to take these shots.

and what do you have against beer belly fishermen? I think they are cool

    Hey Steve,

It is always a thrill to see an eagle even when I can't get a shot in.
