Elephant Seals
Through a local meetup group, I took a trip the beach to photograph some Elephant Seals. The lighting was horrible, harsh and backlit, but I managed to get a few keepers.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

If you've never seen an Elephant Seal, they're huge! The males can reach over 12' long and weigh over 3,000 pounds, so you definitely don't want to get on their bad side.

As always, criticism is welcome.

What a fantastic opportunity for you..
My favourite image has to be the last one. He's a beauty!
Is there any way you could get a little more light on the male's face in the 4th image? That would make that image pretty awesome as well.
It already has some brightness added to his face, but I agree it might benefit from a touch more. I'll see what I can come up with later.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
