Went up to the Flume Gorge in Lincoln NH on Saturday. The ice formations are pretty amazing.
The snow in the fg is covering ice that forms on the river in winter (Pemigewasset). It still flows underneath though. I climbed onto a boulder and promptly sank my tripod in the snow.
The icicles are about 3 feet or 1 meter in height.
Shot w/the legacy OM 65-200mm on the E-30. Tweaked curves in LR to bring up the blue in the ice.
