prospecting photography work

i have came across a contact that handles all sports event for the local community park. Turns out he is starting a soccer league next couple of weeks and i asked if i can come in to take pictues. i asked that i send him whatever information he needs to consider. however, i didn't question him as to what exactly he is looking for other then seeing my sample work.
what sort of information is needed to send. proposal? is there such out there, would that include price list? packages? samples? hope someone can help.
