Being Social on Facebook

Hmmmm...I am sure this should be self evident...but...
When I use the Get Social function on facebook to post a gallery for my friends and family to see, I not only get my text, a pretty little thumbnail, and the gallery name, but I also get a very long and ugly webpage address listed for everyone to see...and when they click on the thumbnail, title or web address, my friends are taken not just to the gallery, but first to a large version of the picture I chose to represent the gallery.
How can I make the posting in facebook show just my message, thumbnail, and gallery name? And how do I make it point directly into my gallery?
Thanks!

I always just hit the "post a link" button on FB, then add my gallery URL, ( the nicename) it automatically makes a nice thumbnail and a direct link to this gallery when clicked.

I still wonder what I am doing wrong with my attempt to do this from Smugmug with their "Be Social" (sorry...I said "Get Social" last time...I meant Be Social) choice under the share button...but for now, you've given me a solution.

Like J Allen, I just copy/paste the link myself and take control over the process. I'd rather see exactly what I'm going to get in FB rather than let Smugmug make up it's own mind about what I'm going to get. Plus, when doing it manually in FB, you can edit everything, even what looks like uneditable parts of what FB puts in can be edited by just clicking on them. So, you get total control by doing it manually in FB. Definitely worth it for me.
