I took some pics of my 5D, getting ready to put it up for sale. I decided to post these images and a simple description about the setup, in case someone else wants to shoot their gear not lying on the kitchen table.

As you can see in the last shot, a pull-back shot, I used the black side of a reflector leaned against the wall. One speedlight with blue gel aimed at the background. The key light was another speedlight shot through a small softbox close to the camera. Camera mounted directly on a light stand. I could have used a smooth background, but I wanted some kind of pattern to it, so the wrinkles were fine for this. YMMV

All I then had to do was clone out the light stand. Done...

    Thanks Devin,
I just figured the setup might be useful to someone ne_nau.gif

I'll post it in the "House of Canon" forum with sales info. Just showing the pics and setup here.

Good technical work, Pard. I hope you get the bucks you want.

Say hi to Teresa and the kids ( the four legged kind ),

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Thanks Mary,

Yeah, I'm shufflin' the deck. Just sold one camera, and I might sell three more eek7.gif... That would still leave me with one rolleyes1.gif

Nice setup, Randy. Thanks for the explanations and demo shots. Now, if I only owned some lights . . .
