Thanks Rob - yes you can get some interesting patterns on the ice surface as well as the crystal crowns

Wow. Those are impressive. Can you post a bit about your setup? I'm assuming this is a macro lens on a tripod outdoors? What about lighting (is that a single off-camera flash)?
