I had to look the place up online but WOW. Very cool place with rock homes/buildings and just nifty stuff all around.

I've long wanted to visit there. I don't think I've ever seen it by night.... usually midday from a hot air balloon!

Cappadocia is an incredible place. It's inhabitants carved houses and churches on the rock. Here are a few additional pics

The carvings on the rock are pigeon houses...

This is one of the best preserved churches, with incredible frescoes.
