    lol--cracked me up.
I love this shot--I like that his little head was turned to the side so we can see his Lightning McQueen emblazoned on his helmet--just a sweet touch.

    Very cute.

I like that the little boy and the car are both headed away from the viewer.

Have you considered cropping it to lose some of the bright sky? When I first looked at the picture, I saw only the lower part (I have everything enlarged on my screen so I can read the type!) and loved it. When I scrolled up, though, the bright area drew my attention away from the little boy.

OK, this one makes me smile. thumb.gif

I think we can all relate to the past times of our youth, so in my opinion, this one nails it.

Thanks all. Isn't it a fun photo. Made me smile when I took and still does every time I look at it. Scott's right... brings back a lot of memories of riding bikes as a kid. Glad you guys like it.

Virginia... about the crop. To me it works well as is. I like the composition the way it is... like where he is located in the frame. Also, I like the bus stop sign and I I crop it the way you suggest, I would end up cut out the sign. Lastly, I also like that the foreground is in shadow and there is a path of light just ahead of him that leads to the street ahead. Kind of gives the photo a sense that he is starting off on a journey, not just a quick bike ride. Thanks for the suggestion though.

haha..good one..though I think a moderate vignette would help to darken up that right sky,,my eyes drift a bit becasue the sky is so bright

The sky is definately a bit problematic, but the picture as a whole makes up for it. Nice.

The sky doesn't bother me in the overall composition. The inclusion of the bus sign is more important I think. Great shot and one to which we call all relate.

Really like this one. Crop probably doesn't matter much to me as it works both ways as the capture of the boy at that moment is wonderful.

Loving all your posts and the composition/PP skills that you are displaying.
