    Color. Definitely color. And nice.

Thanks BD. I'm trying to control the Fuji BEAST!

Wow! Way way more than 35mm, there is a reason to shoot medium format film. Even in these low res images, you can tell. It's so sharp and has such great color depth. No mistaking it.

That Fuji is a beast. I once had one like it, and I only ever got a few good shots with it, but they are something else. No meter. Range finder focusing. Non-interchangeable lens. It's a purist's dream machine. Probably never improved upon for just what it was.

The color shor wants just a little more exposure. You aren't in danger of blowing any highlights and you have plugged the shadows. The overall effect is very pleasing but you have not left yourself the option to open the shadows, except possibly in PS or on an enlarger. (Try shadow/highlight to see what's there.)

Nothing wrong with the B&W. At all.

This kind of portrait work really shows off what this camera can do.
    If not now, when?

Thanks Rutt, like you said, with no meter this camera is a little tough to control but yeah, a purist's dream. No excuses with this camera. It's you and the film. I will try what you said and overexpose a bit with color next time so that I can get better tonality. And that lens! It may be the best lens I've ever used. I looked at the color shot full res, 100% in Photoshop and could not believe my eyes.

From a woman's point of view, I would hope that nobody would ever photograph me in this manner. Purism and sharp lenses and exposure issues and photography aside.

    damn it!
I couldn't open these up at work and just now managed to get here!

Well I knew it had to be something when Sarah made her comment. Got to respect mom's wishes. Sorry I missed it.

For some reason your shots lately have been little x's for me during the daytime, but viewable on my home computer.
