The red car going by adds some macabre color to the scene. Creepy, but I like it.

Nice. Really like this one. Especially the perspective.

    Hey Joco,

Welcome to Dgrin wave.gif. I agree with Damon that this is creepy, but I also like it. Well done thumb.gif

Thanks for the comments and thanks for the welcome! I like to capture those things that you would normally just walk past without noticing. In this case with some drama, but that may well be my personal definition of 'street photography'.

And I like wide angle. To me it is more difficult (have to get closer to the subject, much more in the frame), but when it works out the results are more exiting than tele.

I REALLY like this shot. The car adds the feeling of hit and run, the red adds to the feeling of the violent end. The perspective and DoF really work.

Charges of hit and run, leaving the scene, vehicular birdslaughter are pending...

    Hahaha, 'vehicular birdslaughter'. Creative.

Did you get strangle looks from passers-by during your forensic photo shoot?

Well, I think so. Some kids passed by. However I try not to take notice of people. When I do I get that 'being looked at' feeling and I start to rush things. I missed a lot of shots that way.

That's a great shot. I like everything about it, but most of all the red hue in the birds neck mated to the red car. thumb.gif

very cool shot like a lot.....the poor thing went before his / her time...she was to be served up at the Ritz in a few months after maturing a bit more.......PIGEON IS QUITE PALATABLE....rates right up there with quail and pheasant under glass......much better than both in my opinion........
