#1 Is excellent and the only thing I can offer is maybe a slight chin tuck with the liquefy tool? Quick fix, but I think worth it.

As for my photos, I don't think the shirt is blown out but it may be lighter than it should be. I'll experiment further.
As for the other one, here is a similar photo with a B&W treatment. I wasn't sure it worked as well. Your thoughts?
