DSS#70.....seeking C&C please

So, it probably comes as no surprise that one of my "loves" to photograph is my daughter. That being said, here are my first two attempts at this challenge. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Not easy to capture something like this with a macro lens. The flatter the subject the better really. Something like a coin.
    Having said all of that, I love shooting close ups of eyes too. I love how soft and gentle the focus looks.
    Canon EOS 40D, Canon EOS 350D, 50mm 1.8 MKII prime lens, 17-40mm f/4 L lens, 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS lens, 430 EX speedlite, Tungsten Continuous studio light, Pocket Wizards, Gary Fong Lightsphere, Stofen Omni bounce diffuser, 5in1 reflector

    Thanks MrsCuethumb.gif It did take me several tries to get the focus the way I wanted it, but I'm pretty happy with it!
