OMG Chris #3 is hilarious!, but... #1 is my favorite, love how they mimic the tree line, and of course the color is gorgeous! Great set!

#3 looks like the duck on the left is checking out the talent lol. That duck loves big butts? rolleyes1.gif

ALL very lovely shots but I think #3 fits the theme much better.

I like the humor in the shot so much--I also think it fits the theme.

Another vote for #3 - all the shots are good, but that one just has tons of personality! And the Seinfeld comments - how funny (& fitting)!!

Well I have been trying to get birds flying by an old barn at sunset to get the feeling of what I like to photograph but the logisticsne_nau.gif
3 is the best so far. We are in for a lot of rain for the week. I want to find some swans they are always good for dramatic shots. Dave has shown that already
I also took some great shots of Pintails mating that day but I figured that would be pushing the envelope. Spring is definitely in the air here in CA. But then again ducks mating does not convey much love there are so brutal about it.

    I'd go with #3 also.
I think the first two, because of the sky, just doesn't have enough to keep me there.
The 4th shot is a bit like that also, but I do like the back lighting coming through the wings.
Thats a tough shot to well, and you did very well with it.

#3. I MARVEL at good bird shots. I have no desire to photograph birds but am somehow always just enamored with them when they are done well (and these are!). Great stuff!

    #3 is hilarious and excellent.

But, I'll put in a vote for #1 as well. I love the flow of the birds across the top, and, looking at it again, I realized that it looks almost like a stop action series (i.e. the same bird flying through the sky, instead a group of them). It is a group, right? rather than some form of stop action (since that would be tough, with birds, and the bright sky).
