    What a wonderful variety of birds to have so close to home!
    Great captures, too :)

    My favourite picture of this excellent set has to be that poor little orange-crowned warbler. So cute! I hope it was able to survive the cold weather.

    Thank you Lindiwe. The orange-crowned warbler was just fine. After letting me take quite a few pictures it had had enough and flew off strongly against the biting wind.

    Thanks Dan..the background in the meadowlark pic is actually snow. We've had a lot here in N. Texas, just like last February in 2010.
