Desperately waiting at Loch Assynt for a sunrise that never came but instead, I was welcomed by a lovely, moody and soft light.

What a great shot. I agree - a nice example of when center-based composition works. Sometimes the shot we're waiting for is replaced by something even better! Nice job.

Beautiful. Love the subtle color addition from the green of the needles and orange of the exposed tree trunk.
