I'd like to share a few photos from a recent trip to the Land of Enchantment (New Mexico).
I started my morning out west of Albuquerque on Route 66. The temperature hovered in the upper single digits and for the first time I experienced frost forming on my camera.
#1: Sunrise over Albuquerque:
When making these types of images (or any really), it pays to turn around. I did and made the following image.
#2: The Road to the Mountains:
Turning around again, these power poles caught my attention as they stood out on the landscape:
#3:
Later that day, I went up to Chimayo and ate at Rancho de Chimayo. I can highly recommend the restaurant! I made the following two images in the area:
#4: Potrero Trading Post
#5:
On the following morning, I had the pleasure of watching the sun rise over the Rio Grande and have the following to share from that:
#6: Sunrise over the Rio Grande:
#7: The Rio Grande
#8: Sunrise from White Rock:
#9:
All in all, even though I didn't have a lot of time for photography on this trip, I much enjoyed the time I did have.
Thanks for looking! C&C appreciated as always

Thanks for sharing your pics. It pays to wake up early. Good
advice about turning around too.

Thanks, Alvin! It was a great trip and as much as I grumble about waking up early, I love being out there at those times.
Glad to hear that my shots brought back great memories of your time in Santa Fe. I'm very much looking forward to going back!
Thanks, jbrown4849!
