A couple snowy owls that I saw this weekend. It was my first time seeing them in the wild, and they are quite amazing.

It seems like they migrate here in the winter. Gives me something to look forward to in the winter, because everything big hibernates, and most other birds go south.

always a great day one gets to see an owl. Even better day if one gets to photograph one. Congrats.

How wonderful that you were able to spot and photograph these!
I'm quite, quite envious. I love owls, and so far haven't had the opportunity for an 'in the wild' shot of any species of owl.

Very nice, and one owl that I have been looking for in our area and yet to spot it. Never captured this owl before and hope one day to get lucky with a shot or 2.

Thanks - It's about one of the only things to take pictures of here in Alberta during February/March....because everything else migrates south or hibernates.
