Had a trip to Central America recently for a photo mission; we had to stop about halfway in Honduras for fuel and a nap.

All shot with a Nikon D200

From around La Ceiba airport... this was our "arrival gate" (private airplanes park at the gates when arriving from outside the country)

Did you actually spend any time there or just a flyover? If so, how you like it?

I ask because my wife and I are planning this year's trip and right now we're looking at spending a week in Panama and another someplace else. Honduras is an option.

BTW, great shots. I especially love that last one. Tilt-shift effect really works with that one.

    Thanks.

I overnighted there. Not passing judgement, but going to Honduras was a necessity for the trip. We wouldn't have gone there otherwise, and I've no desire to go back - but honestly I just don't find any attraction to anyplace in that part of the world so I'm probably not the best person to comment :D

Oh - by the way, the "tilt shift" wasn't a "tilt shift" - there's no editing there, that's just the way it came out because of distortion from engine exhaust :)
