Kingfisher and GBH at Deception Pass, WA
On Sunday afternoon by girlfriend and I along with several friends went over to Deception Pass for a relaxing afternoon.
I got several pictures of a Kingfisher. They are not that great, as it was at the bottom of a cliff from where I was so it was a long, long distance from me. I also got a few captures of a Great Blue Heron while he was fishing, and attempting to find some solitude!

Yeah! Lol, this is the first capture of a KF that I was able to get close enough to actually be able to identify it as more than a black speck!
You must have good eyes. Kind of hard to tell from that far away what was flying past. D
The 3rd shot turned out nice as did the last image. The others.

LoL, really? Maybe I am mistaken, but I am pretty sure that is a KF! If I am mistaken then I blame it on my lack of bird identification, not on how far away it was! I thought it looked fairly obvious that it was a KF.
I wasn't going for sales worthy images in these shots. We were out doing some hiking and I happened upon a couple of opportunities for some shots.
