Good capture of the kid. This would work better as a part of a series than it does standalone. Since we know your work, we understand where all that red light is coming from, but other people will not. In other words, there's nothing in this image that tells the viewer that it's a fire scene or what the kid is reacting to.

As always the compliment and critique is greatly appreciated. What kind of series do you believe it would work best with?

I was just thinking of other shots you took at the scene, but I suppose you could also do a more general series mixing shots from several fires.

I haven't always been real strong on the human side for that kind of interaction because it has a tendency to be limited. The real obstacle is nearly 200 galleries with close to 7000 images it's a little difficult to wrap my arms around that kind of thing. I'm close to getting things together for a book to be put out on blurb that will be really cool which will have nothing but trucks in it so we're trying to get something out beyond the website it's self.
