Wild Horses

Recently hiking on Assateague Island in a remote area I came across 4 horses.....the northern end of the island supports a few herds that are "wild" but tourist friendly...in the back country it's a little different. I scared them, they scared me, and they bolted...as they passed at a full run I grabbed a quick one....colors are kinda pretty........

    Nice to see something other than birds posted here. *-) Sure would have liked this a lot more if the action had been towards the camera rather than away from it. I realize wildlife can be fast moving but better eye contact, head angle and angle of view for the action would have improved this greatly. Thanks for sharing.
