Be Social/Facebook bug

When I go to the new Share/Be Social, click on Facebook (when not logged into FB via Smugmug), type in a message, then click on Advanced Settings, I'm taken to the advanced settings with no way to finish anything after I get there. All I can do is hit the Close button and throw away what I've started:

So you don't agree this is a UI bug? I've already clicked on Facebook. I've already filled in the message. Then, I click on Advanced settings and I find there's no way to go forward. Conceptually, you're asking me to start over to go forward.

FYI, I wasn't asking for a work-around. I was reporting what I thought was a UI bug so someone who works on that part of the UI could make it better.

You did not claim it as a UI bug, I'm sorry. You said "I'm taken to the advanced settings with no way to finish anything after I get there" and I was trying to point out that there is a way to finish and get to where you were. I've shared this with the product team and designers and sorcerer. Thanks.

I thought posting it in the Bug Reporting forum implicitly said I thought it was a bug. Anyway, glad it's being pointed out to those who work on this.

It does. But your first post wasn't specific about you having a UI issue. Thank you.

Glad this is being looked at. I got all tripped up w/ it too; didn't understand what the Advanced settings were trying to do. Still don't, actually. Also, in the places where we're being asked to "Allow" this or that connection, could you suggest, Andy, that they make a much more explicit explanation of what those "Allows" mean; i.e. what one is really allowing? In looking at them, I have no idea, so I haven't allowed any of them yet. I want to know that something's not going to get posted on FB or anywhere else every time I add new stuff, etc. I want to know exactly what it's going to do. I already had some kind of "allow SmugMug" before, so now I don't know whether this is something additional. There's just a lot lacking in the explanation. There was also no announcement on our pages about these enhancements, which surprised me. I only saw the blog by accident. How are most people going to know that anything changed?

You'd have to ALLOW permission for us to put stuff (at your request) on your Facebook Page (if you have one) so that's an additional permission you'd need to authorize. Thank you for the other feedback.

WinSome, here are what the permissions allow us to do:
    1) Post to Your Wall: It allows us to post to your wall.
    2) Page Access: It allows us to retrieve your pages, and it allows you to post to your page's wall
    3) Offline Access: It allows us to save your account, and for you then to post without having to log-in with FaceBook.

We Never post anything to Facebook without you initiating the process (either through Be Social, or through a like button.

    Hope this helps,
    Scott.

Ok, thanks a bunch, Scott. That does help a lot. I mean, that's what I would have assumed. But here's what put up red flags in my head: I already gave SmugMug permission to do that stuff long ago, & had been putting stuff on FB through Be Social for months. So why did I then need to do it again? It made me fear that more was going to be allowed. So I stand by my suggestion that some kind of hover-over note or an "info i " should be included to explain this to people.
