300 bucks, are you kidding me? So if I paid $700 for my 1D2 with the charger (I didn't tho), my cam only cost $400!?! B&H has the same price! Adorama has an Adorama-brand charger for $90.

Is it just old and hard to find?
I hope mine doesn't break!

The Canon 1D MKII was originally a $4500 camera body. Yes, replacement parts are going to be expensive. Sometimes you can find used parts that have depreciated at about the same rate as the camera, but often they have not.

The Adorama charger has 2 terrible reviews so I don't think I would recommend it.

Unfortunately, no :(. But if you want to buy a second 1D-series (1D, II, IIn, 1Ds, II), you can save by getting one without the charger. They're significantly less expensive.
