Prairie Storm

One of my first successful photostitches! The storm was headed right towards where I lived last summer. It ended up producing 3 tornadoes and 2 inch hail. No one was injured thankfully (we were all in the basement when it arrived) however our vehicles didn't fair too well. 4 out of 10 were totalled.

i found that the first photo stitches i did, i was so excited to make a pano that i didnt care if i had placed the subject properly, etc.
looks like youre not having that problem. the cloud takes up the entire frame and the foreground is interesting as well.
perhaps look at the left side of the pano and see if you can recover any blown out highlights?

NOTE TO SELF: Stay the hell away from North Dakota during tornado season!
The cloud looks like a huge jellyfish. Glad no one was hurt!

I'd love to shoot some of the storms that form over our local prairies and pastures...but I'm terribly afraid of lightning. So I watch from afar.
