One of my first successful photostitches! The storm was headed right towards where I lived last summer. It ended up producing 3 tornadoes and 2 inch hail. No one was injured thankfully (we were all in the basement when it arrived) however our vehicles didn't fair too well. 4 out of 10 were totalled.

Wow! :wow Now that's definitely worth stitching! Great job. Glad to hear folks are all right. Too bad about the vehicles. Did you get any pics of them? mwink.gif

Intense and beautiful at the same time. Fantastic shot - glad everyone is okay from the aftermath of what it produced as well.

Wow! Wonderful shot. May I ask how you stitched it? What software did you use? I want to give it a try!

Looks very menacing but at the same time the foreground is soothing. Great capture and well processed thumb.gif

I just used Photostitch, it was included in the software that came with my camera. Canon Utilities.

    really nice job.

i found that the first photo stitches i did, i was so excited to make a pano that i didnt care if i had placed the subject properly, etc.

looks like youre not having that problem. the cloud takes up the entire frame and the foreground is interesting as well.

perhaps look at the left side of the pano and see if you can recover any blown out highlights?

I've always wanted to capture a shot like this, nice job! How many shots did you stitch together? I think you should blow this one up and put it on the wall.

Beautiful image, Eric. Can you post the originals? I find it interesting to compare how they look next to the finished product.

I love shots from storm chasers and hope to spend a summer in the midwest one of these years!

The cloud looks like a huge jellyfish. Glad no one was hurt!

Beautiful storm capture and pano stich. clap.gif

I'd love to shoot some of the storms that form over our local prairies and pastures...but I'm terribly afraid of lightning. So I watch from afar.
