American White Pelican in Breeding Plumage

Okay sorry, it's not wild, it was at the Fort Worth Zoo, Fort Worth Texas.

There was no sign at the railing to explain what this is, so for now until I figure out what it is, i'm going with "Long-beaked bird thing".

Out of 600 shots today this is my personal favorite.

Nice Capture! It looks to be an American White Pelican in breeding plumage.
