Something new for me

You guys may remember this photo from a set I did of Bailey a while back. Well, my original thought behind it was to use her in a composite image. I never got around to do what I originally wanted but I put this together tonight, just horsing around.
What do you all think? I got the idea from a Tinkerbell poster I saw. I've never worked with fonts so would like some feedback. I plan on sending this to her mom but not until I hear some C&C.

What an expression, a mother loves that kind of stuff.
I suggest losing the bright yellow, that is what grabs your eye first.

Mike... I started without the yellow lettering but it was a bit bland so I added it. If not yellow, what would you do? All green? Different shades of green? Maybe white?
I played around with the letters some more. Changed up the blending modes of the layers. I think this is better:

If the words are brighter then the viewer looks at the words first and then her.
I would make all the same color, but some variation would probably be fine, just darker.
I am probably nit picking and it is fine how it is .
Just an opinion, her mother isn't going to care either way, she is going to love love it!

The caption and picture are perfectly matched. I applaud your work on this one.

Is this the pic that you were shooting mushrooms for?

Not the exact picture but another one in this set. I still need to find a good mushroom to shoot.
