Can somebody please give me some pointers or advice on what I need to do on this picture? I tweaked it just a little in LR3 and then added a little bit of grain for the "film" look.

Also, can somebody let me know what the best way to get a photo from LR3 to the challenge thread with the EXIF still attached. I recently switched from LR2 and I am just not that comfortable with LR3 just yet. Been a tough winter between doctors offices and work. Haven't had the time to devote undivided attention to working with LR3 like I would like to.

If I need to start over, let me know.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

First off, I like the way you were able to convey multiple loves with just one picture! I have limited experience doing indoor portraits so can't help you much there, but I am wishing that there was a bit more light from the left. It would work well with your theme and soften the shadows on their faces. Personally, I would also like to see the folded hands of the daughter in the foreground - or a bit more of her head.

I had to find out how to export an image from LR3 with the EXIF data for the last challenge, so I can help you there. You need to tweak your export settings in LR3 and make sure the "minimize embedded data" in the metadata section is not checked. That should take care of it for you. (Lightroom strips out the EXIF data if you have that checkbox turned on.) Just change it back after exporting the image for the challenge if you don't want the EXIF data visible for other images.

Look forward to seeing how you proceed with this!

The concept is great and I love the coloring. It needs to be a bit brighter and yes, the first child is too cut off.
