Questions about legal forms

Hello,

Wanting to start doing some portrait work. Some would be from out of house others on location.
Do I need to have my customers sign a contract or release form. Also if you are on location are you liable
for any injuries to the customer?

Contracts are always useful, releases while not necessary are also nice, and liability insurance is always necessary. If someone gets hurt you can just about guarantee that you will be blamed. Your fault, their fault, nobody's fault, fingers get pointed.

An agreement is ALWAYS necessary. You need to spell out for people what they are getting, if not then later on you WILL be providing more than what you initially agreed on. I promise.
