Password protected galleries - featured image?

Is it possible to have a featured image to display for password protected galleries in addition as background to the lock image?

Why don't you just try it? Yes, you can feature an image for a password protected gallery and then you won't get the big lock image, just a little lock icon next to the featured thumbnail.

Go to the photo in the gallery.
Tools > More > Feature

Sorry, didn't realize you didn't know where the menu item was. Tools/This Photo/More/Feature.
