Wonky "Show Focus Points" in Aperture?

Has anyone else had trouble using Show Focus Points in Aperture 3.1.1?

When I turn it on (option-F) with images that I shot with my Olympus E-PL1, where I know I used non-center focus points-and the in-focus/out-of-focus areas confirm this-Aperture always shows the center focus point as the one in use.

I've searched using Google and in the Apple support site and turned up very little. Can anyone help?

TIA.

I've used it with my 7D, XTI and G11, and don't recall it raising any red flags or looking off for me - could be as simple as the camera not logging what Aperture is expecting? Not sure how you'd fix that!

Thanks for the reply. I did later find some discussion of it also not working with some Nikon DSLRs, so maybe it works with some brands and not others? Not sure...
