I just logged this feature request, and hope others might be interested in commenting and/or voting for it.
It would be very helpful if there was a user-friendly way to download simple reports for me to analyze the data I have loaded on my site. It's so easy to lose control of one's image libraries, and yet so important to keep them well organized and their associated data backed up.

It would be very helpful if there was a user-friendly way to download simple reports for me to analyze the data I have loaded on my site. It's so easy to lose control of one's image libraries, and yet so important to keep them well organized and their associated data backed up.
In the user interface, I would select:
- List fields (e.g., image filename, image caption, image keywords, container gallery name, whether image is original or virtual copy)
- Primary/secondary sort sequence (e.g., by filename, gallery)
- Selection criteria (e.g., particular galleries, dates, all)
- Output file format (e.g., Excel spreadsheet - which I could re-sort to analyze)
- Backing up my image captions & keywords that were entered within SM
- Keeping track of where all my original images are stored vs. their virtual copies
- Controlling duplicate images (real copies)
- Detecting where categories/subcategories/galleries are getting so big they should be broken down
- Detecting where organizational hierarchy doesn't make sense
- Planning any organizational changes
