An 'explicit' closeup on a flower. I dunno, I didn't really like it from the start, until I started looking at it again, now I'm starting to believe that I overlooked it at first.

I guess I thought that since i didn't get the entire center in focus, that the DOF wasn't good enough. I kind of wanted everything blurred like it is, except more of the center to be in focus.

i think i'd tend to agree with you. I do love the colors and contrast, and how sharp it is. But it leaves me wishing for just tad more dof. And i do mean JUST a tad, like just the center part with the yellow dots being in (insert proper flower part names here).i'm being rough though - it by no means is a tosser. it is an execelent capture.

Next time try taking a couple shots with different points in focus, with a small DOF, and you can focus stack the ones you like to get the correct DOF you were looking for.
