my iphone cam. Ok well not officially, I still have my d90 but it's collecting dust these days. i am too busy snuggling my little fat man to be shooting him. so of course when I see something i want to shoot the one thing i do have on me ALWAYS is my phone. and the challenge of it is fun, along with the 40+ photo apps i've collected. yeah yeah there's a time and place for tack sharp & perfectly exposed photos. and I can do those...but this is just fun.

Sorry i have been so MIA.
BTW anyone with an iPhone have Instagram?? i'm addicted to it. if you are too please share your username so we can follow each other. I'm "mkayser"

Also feel free to share your fun people cell phone pics here

You make me wanna break out my iphone lol. I'm always carrying my iphone and D90 around.
These shots are so filmy and classic. They make me immediately think "family".

There is something so universal and magical about early morning + babies. I am practically lactating here. Great set, love #2.

I love my iphone!! I have been using the hipmastic app latley but my all time favorite app is the 8mm video app. I love taking videos of my little girl with that app. and I am slowly putting together a video that I am going to suprise my Wife on her first birthday.

cute shot! I also love the hipstamatic! but it's really hit or miss with it. which is the point i think. I'll have to check out the 8mm app.

I tried to add you as a friend but I could not figure it out. My name is MadMod on there. I just downloaded it yesterday so I really don't have any photos on there yet.

Great job with these. Love the second one - the tatoos on the arm, the book (I just read that one to my kids the other night!)...
So, after playing with 40 photo apps, can you suggest some that you like for portraits?
    Thanks
    E

    thanks!
well it depends on what i'm in the mood for and the light i'm working with. also sometimes i use more than one for a photo.

but my most used apps are:
    Instagram
    Tiltshiftgen
    Camera+
Hipstamatic (if i'm feeling particularly funky)
    diptic
filterstorm is a good one for basic PS type editing
    pocketbooth

some of the others i have and will goof off with occasionally:
    shake it
    paint it now
    oldphotopro
    pictureshow
    photostudio
    plastic bullet
some camera thats name is in chinese. when you open it it says pudding camera.
i have so many more that i've downloaded and rarely use

    Beautiful pictures!!

I completely agree about using an iPhone. I take travel shots and have got some great pics without having to carry around bulky equipment! My galleries are at http://nikkis.smugmug.com and almost all of the photos are taken on my iphone!
