I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Hey Gayle,
Thanks so much for looking in. Darlene and I really enjoyed your gallery. You'll be seeing more of us as in the future. It's always nice to visit with another photographer. And, of course, I'm not the least bit surprised that you recognize these scenes.:D

Nice photos Tom. The color is sweetness to one's eyes that only see's white lately.

Hey Gary,
I'm not sure about the first one. The original structure is very old....certainly in the 1800's....but it has had some exterior updating, along with, I'm sure, interior improvements.
The second one dates back to the early 1800's, probably also having seen some degree of an update on the outside along with the needed interior improvements.
Both houses are in an area supporting remnants of structures dating back to the 1600's.

It was 82 degrees when I shot these pics yesterday. I'd give anything for a dose of that " white " that's been haunting you guys all winter long.
Take care,
Tom
Open the frig and hug it best you can. Don't call for help cause it ain't
coming. There you have it lucky duck
Nice pics Tom. Pleased to see these kinds of works out of you as always.
Summers coming just a bit down the road yet. I can wait just like the rest.
No big hurry.
Do you think you'd trade those northern winters for our southern summers? Pick your poison I guess.
That first shot in particular:
- Great warm SW colors (yeah, I know where your at)
- Texture, texture, texture
- Excellent composition
Do I have to "say it"? ~ I love that first imageThanks for the kind words.
You make a good point about the weather situation. My ultimate answer is to seek a middle ground. As soon as I can finish a new home, I'm heading full time to the Appalachian mountains right on the NC / TN border.
Tom
It's a real treat to hear out of you, Michael. How about gracing us with some of your talented work. It's been too long in coming.
Take care my friend,
Tom
Mighty kind words there, Pard. They mean a lot to me.
The texture in that stucco treatment on the first house is about the most extreme I've ever seen.
Take care,
Tom
