    love that place! it's on my list of spots to return to, that's for sure. last time i went in June, and for the most part, there were no clouds to lend drama to the photos i took... i think next time around, i'll go earlier in spring, when the weather's a bit more unsettled... clouds over the Mittens make for some amazing photos!

    I think this is your set set yet! The light is sweeter and I love the shadows that are creeping along the ground. And #2... wow!

    Thanks! For #2 - #4, we thought the day was going to end up a bust. We were heading back towards Monument Valley and a bunch of storms were brewing in the area. Luckily the rain blew over, but some clouds remained to keep it interesting. My favorite is actually the sunset shots of Totem Pole. I had some sweet light... Just goes to show, I can plan down to the smallest details for our trips, but sometimes luck is what happens.
