minitt1 and flextt5 with 580exll

i just wanted to buy this stuff for my canon 7d with 2 flash 580 exll
but i heard that on the past 18 month 200 people who bought minitt1 and flextt5 ,they got problem on it and sent it to factory,
anybody have any information about this?

I have not had any trouble with my four month old MiniTT1 nor my FlexTT5. In fact I just bought a second TT5 and an AC3. Love them, they make life a lot easier.

My primary use of the FlexTT5's are with my Alien Bees.
