Hi,
I'm new here and I don't know if this is possible but: In my gallery I will have a collection entitled 'Flowers and Fungi of Southern Spain'. I will exhibit several shots of each species. What I want to do within the gallery/collection is to make a sub-collection/gallery for each species so that only one picture of each species is shown (selectable I hope) in the primary gallery so the person viewing may click on a species that interests them and view a sub-collection of all thumbnails of that species each of which could be clicked for the full image. Possible?? How do I set this up?
Cheers,
Brian.

> categories contain galleries and optionally subcategories
>> subcategories contain galleries
>>> galleries contain photos
See http://www.smugmug.com/help/upload-photo and http://www.smugmug.com/help/arrange-albums.
So your 'Flowers and Fungi of Southern Spain' could be defined as a category, with subcategories representing the types of flowers.

If you intend to have only one gallery in each subcategory then I would recommend not using subcategories - just use categories and galleries.
