hello everyone :)
I am nikon D3000 user. Currently i am using Nikkor 18-55mm VR.
Now i am thinking of buying another lens and i have two choices:
Nikkor 55-200mm VR
Sigma 70-300mm
both are

f/4-5.6.

Those zoom lenses lose efficiency at the longer/telephoto end of their zoom range and so they are a variable aperture design. Your camera's exposure unit will compensate for the difference automatically so it's only an issue in terms of how slow the shutter speeds may become at the long end.

Of those 2 choices only the first has image stabilization which may help somewhat to offset the slower shutter speeds as far as camera shake is concerned. A higher ISO may still be required to stop subject motion however.

The Sigma has a longer overall focal length but the 200-300mm range is a bit soft unless you stop down to f8-f11, which you should probably do in bright light.
