Snapshots in Zion

Spent the weekend in Zion with my son and some beautiful ladies. These means my photography was limited to hand held 'snapshots'. The worst part was I was there during a snow storm so I was going nuts not being able to spend the entire weekend shooting. :cry
Here are a few of what I came away with.
1. Snow on the plateau
2. The Tree
3. Above Weeping Rock
4. Near the tunnel
5. Hidden in the clouds
6. Peaking out
7. The Virgin River- looking South
8. The view from the room
9. The Ladies
10. Snowball fight (he is so lucky he missed)

Thanks Joel. Not complaining about the shots- just the inability to spend the entire trip seeking comps and waiting for the perfect shots.
It was a great trip and loved the weather.
Thanks Bryan. Appreciate the comments.
Thanks Cameron. I can't wait to go back next winter during another storm! This wasn't fog but actually low hanging clouds. The weather completely changed from one end of the tunnel to the other. On Saturday the park was under rain and some sleet at the canyon floor but the upper plateau was being hammered with snow. About 6 inches in 4 hours. On Sunday it was clear up at the plateau and completely socked in down below with snow flurries. Pretty amazing to see the change in 1.1 miles and few hundred feet.

(btw, I called Aaron Sunday to tell him how pissed off I was at his luck)
(now seeing the results I'm just plain ol' jealous)
(great comps and timing my bro)
Thanks Eia. My son, my friend, and her daughter were indeed having fun in the snow. Luckily for me and my camera - they are not very good at throwing snowballs.
Thanks for the comments Trey. It was nice to have a fairly relaxing getaway trip. Usually it is a lot of miles and lack of sleep.
Thanks Phil- yes all shots were hand held. #3-#6 were with the 70-200. Others were either 16-35 or 85mm.
Thanks Schmoo. Just refer to them as snaps as they were all handheld, no planning- just snapping shots as we hiked, drove, and played. The weather did all the work.
Thanks Ron. I agree- the snow makes the park a whole different place. Will be on my list for next winter for sure.
Thank you for the very kind words Marjohn.
Thanks Shawn. Oh and the Jeep ran like a champ this time to Zion.

Thanks Tom. Really appreciate the comments.
Oh- don't be getting all crazy Bryan. I have to see the work you and the other hooligans (Ron & Joel) put up here. I just have to try and keep up.
Thanks Natalie. I just push the button. Nature did the rest.

Too bad on not spending the weekend. You are much closer than I but that is no short haul for you either.

Thanks David.
We spent the weekend - just not a lot of time spent on shooting photos.
