The sun is up and warming the brickwork and this encouraged some activity in the arachnid world.
Here is a female wolf spider on the side of the out house. I had to rotate counter-clockwise for composition purposes.

Was going to comment you might need a bit more diffusion on the flash but see that it's presumably a full sun natural light shot

Yeah - full direct sunlight at about 3pm. It was the only day of the week where we had a sky not wrapped in very dark grey horizon to horizon cloud cover!
Also saw a couple of jumpers on the wheelie bin & the wall - couldn't react quick enough though really - they were far too mobile!

I like the 'limited depth of field' look the most, too, but I'm intrigued by the stacking technique. That's great that you know how to do it. I want to try it out soon just so that I know how it's done.
